French vs. Chinese Food

So me and a few friends were just at dinner hanging out and drinking some beers. Having a good a time and we talked about poker and girls but then the food came and we started arguing about it. My friends all said that french food was way better but I strenuously disagree and insisted that it was chinese food.

Afterall I mean, General Gau's Chicken - any questions?

Tso - General Tso's Chicken -

there are probably more Chinese resturaunts in the world then French Resturaunts - ergo, I can assume French food sucks and the Chinese are right.

Even the Green Zone in Baghdad has a Chinese Restaraunt or two...LOL

Most run of the mill "high end" restaurants are fairly "french".

Edit: actually, I guess most non ethnic places are fairly french.

To be fair one would have to compare gourmet Chinese food to French food.
