Multi tabling hu games

Hi guys,

I'm wondering how many tables it is possible to play heads up at the same time.

I'm able to 8 table cash games and can 8-10 table 9 player sng's pretty easily but havnt played more than 2 heads up games simultaneously. I'm looking to 4 table $6-$11 turbo games on stars for now.

Is this possible ?

most people can not play more than 2 HU matches.

I know of a few who play 4 successfully...

But I think for a majority of players the best hourly rate is paying attention to 1 maybe 2 games

I can multitable 4 HU SNGs but I have been playing heads up for the past 2 and a half years. You have to play a ton so you know what hands are auto-raisable and also understanding flop texture to know what hands to bet/check. Also, it is much easier to do SNGs than cash games but I would start out at 2 to begin with if I were you.

Lower limits can be a lot easier to multitable because you dont encounter as many complex situations.

Personally, I play 2 nl cash games at 1/2 or 2/4. If i'm playing nl hu sngs, 3 at the 55 level. Somtimes, if a player is a bad lag, I will play only against him, since reads become much more important in this case, imo.

I can play 4 HU's at a time, but generally my ROI drops a small amount, I'd recommend learning to play 3 + a 6 max sitngo or cash game and keep constant rotation for max profits. I personally don't push my focus levels that much unless I feel the need to. I've been sticking to 2 HU and a 6-max and moving to 3 HU and a 6-max if things aren't going my way. It's important to set a reasonable goal everyday and once you hit it, stopping. There's really no need to strain yourself, and if you feel the need to keep playing...then it's an addiction...and that's a problem. this is all in my opinion of course, a lot of people might not agree.

I also think it's importatn to set goals, but I don't always stop once I reach them. If I'm playing really well and getting a high hourly rate, I will certainly keep playing.
