I've seen "floating" used as a definition quite a bit in this forum. Would somebody mind outlining a brief definition.

call preflop in position, then call flop bet in position, then bet turn when checked to.

It's more just calling the flop with the intention to bluff any turn

just to pick off c/bs. learning when to fire 2nd barrel and sometimes 3rd barrel to combat folding is an art.

Is it floating when you are OOP and call villain's CBet, then lead the turn? I didn't think floating was "only" when in position.
