Windows process scanner?
 

I am looking for a program which scans your current processes and gives a report on them. I have seen and used one before but cant remember the name of it.

I think HijackThis might do what you are looking for.

You'll need to run the results through an analyzer like http://hjt.networktechs.com/ You can google anything it doesn't recognize.
