Low Limit B+M in Calgary?
 

I'm heading to Calgary ths week for work and was hoping to get some playing in while I'm there.. Any locals out there that can make a recommendation? Looking to play 3/6 or 1/2NL, perhaps a tournament ($30-75) if I can get the time..

You'll find those limits at pretty much any of the casinos there, though I think someone told me that Elbow River doesn't spread NL. Deerfoot Casino is the newest and has both of those games if I remember correctly.

Deerfoot is not a dump (yet)... prob your best bet...

Elbow River's 4/8 kill game is nothing to fear.

I was at Deerfoot a couple of weeks ago (Friday the 20th) and the lowest limit game they were spreading was 5/10. The room was packed.

I haven't played any of the other rooms.

Where are you staying? Downtown you have 2 casinos Elbow is the biggest and will always have a 4/8 kill going on. Stampede will have 3/6 kill and 1/2 NL regularly.

If you're staying near the airport Casino Calgary is your best bet they have 4/8 kill and the 1/2 is pretty regular. They also have a wednesday tourney, not sure how much it is though.

For tournaments Cash Casino is your best check out www.cashpoker.ca for their tourney schedule. They also spread 1/2 on a regular basis and of course the Calgary staple 4/8 kill.
