Zelda in 26 minutes

Ok, we've all seen the SMB3 video. Now here's the same thing with the original zelda. Not as impressive as SMB3, but still pretty cool.

Is it just me, or does it seem like he takes tons of hits without loosing any life? That seems unrealistic since he never got the blue or red rings.

Well remember the suns just take your sword away for a couple seconds, and he also hit a couple things and ran threw them while they were blinking (which doesn't hurt you) and there were a couple times where he took a hit at about the same time he picked up a little heart, so it refilled him immediately.

Re: Zelda in 26 minutes

he is using some game genie emulator code or something to protect his health.
also, he doesn't truly beat the game since he doesnt defeat the underworld nine levels(after you beat the 1st 9, there is a new quest).

still impressive,

Re: Zelda in 26 minutes

He is not using any game genie codes. He is using slow motion and frame replay in order to make the "perfect" run. Reading some of the information the site http://tasvideos.org/ has on the making of these is actually rather interesting.
