I\'ve never seen anything like this. Bodog 5/10

I'm playing 5/10 full-ring at Bodog. I get dealt AK off in MP at a wild table with big pots. UTG raises it up to $40, 2 callers before me, I call from MP, guy right behind me calls. Then the button re-raises to $200, everyone before me calls, I call, guy on my left folds. So it's 5-way action on a $1,055 pot before the flop with no one all-in, and I have no idea wtf is going on.

Flop comes 3s-Kd-7d. UTG goes all-in for $1524.93 (btw there is a guy who has him covered in the pot). Folded around to me who calls, which puts me all-in for the rest of my chips ($790). Button folds. Turn comes Q of spades. River comes a 2 of spades. Villain flips over (results in white) 2Q diamonds and wins the pot with running 2 pair .

I guess the only question I have for y'all is whether it would've been better had I went all-in preflop (the second time around). 2 of the players in the pot, including the button, were solid yet loose players, there was one shortstack ($400 or so) in EP, and UTG was a clown who played way too loose.

You should have minraised when it got to you.

I'd consider a 3bet preflop the 1rst time it gets to you, but can understand why you didn't... - and for sure a push in the 2nd time after that. No way do I call there - I push in everytime. If I think I'm against AA or KK, I fold. Way too much dead money in the pot and you have some huge equity - push and increase your equity % in it preflop.

If you've never seen anything like this I'm forced to ask how long you've been playing online poker.

A 5-way pot with 4 people calling a $200 re-raise is something new to me, my apologies for making you suffer through reading my uninteresting post. For what it's worth I have been playing for an year and a half now, and I can't recall the last time I've been in a similar situation at this level. Please stop being worthless and either contribute something or go away.
