Can you fold to a raise? I probably 3-bet the flop.

Thanks,

Guido

if he c/red you with a made hand, why would he slowdown on a blank river? If he c/red with spades, he's not calling.

It feels like he'll either c/r you again or just fold a missed draw.

If he does have spades, given his flop c/r he may well also have a pair (Jxs) which will call the river cuz no one folds a pair. But I'm worried about a straight/monster of some sort or another missed draw (diamonds) so I still like a check.

Check. Looks like he's going for the pwnage. When he is a good player, you lose 2 bets. When is bad you make 0 and when he is awful you make 2. We will know which he is if you check so i check the 1st time.

easy river check. dude, is getting cute with a better hand way more often than giving up by check/calling.

I can handle the emotional hit of missing a thin river value bet better than the emotional hit from allowing him to pull off a trifecta.

I like this.
Thanks all for replying. I checked but I was a little afraid that my recent results made me a little weak. I guess not in this hand.
FWIW, opponent showed Jxs.

I like a river check as well for this exact reason.
