Stars is not reaping the benefit of Party\'s exit.

Man, I expected Stars to come through with flying colors, and benefit greatly from Party's inexplicable decision to drink the funny grape juice, but on Stars at this very minute there is not one single table of two cent/four cent fixed limit omaha high only going.

And if that's not evidence enough for you, there is also no table of 5 cent/10 cent omaha high only fixed limit running.

What a crock. Online poker is on its frugging death bed...

Are Americans actually banned from Party already, or is that still just what they are planning to do?

If not, don't expect many to find their way to Stars until Party actually blocks access.

EDIT: Just saw the news. I'd imagine that the majority of players only play at 1 site, so it will take them some time to migrate over to the new sites as many of the players probably don't have spare money sitting at Stars and other sites like many of us do.

Also, some of the casual players will probably be turned off by this and just stop playing online altogether.

It's done.

A lot of people are going to be surprised when they try to play poker tonight.

It will probably take what, a week or two to get going on Stars or Full Tilt?

I would think atleast a week, depending on how fast the cashouts go.

At this moment I see 46000 players at Stars and Party doesn't even display the players anylonger. At this point it would be normal for Stars to have 30k. Party now offers microlimit in NL and limit for all Guess they are very low on players at the moment.
