February Goals Post
 

Its that time again. My goals:

1) Get in the usual 10k hands. I actually managed to get about 11k in in January, that was nice.

2) Slow down when playing. Often I find myself making a decision without really thinking through all aspects of it. Maybe I'll adopt the Rory "sit on my hands" method.

3) Start taking shots at juicy 10/20 tables once my roll hits that magic 10k number, which it should in Feb.

4) Finally have a winning live session in Tunica.

Finish off about 6k or so more hands at 3/6 until I'm satisfied that I'm a winner and move up to 5/10.

Get a 2001fp, unless Party switches completely over to the Beta, then I might put off getting one.

Not make stupid decisions like deciding to call someone down before the flop.

Not making stupid call downs that are futile.

Fold the losing hand more often when it's obvious that it's the losing hand.

Start bluffing in the right spots instead of the absolute worst ones.

- get all 4 essays in on time

- play some $55 MTT satellites to the $1000+50 WSOP qualifier; i reckon i can qualify a lot cheaper, like for $400 or less.

- play less poker. I need to study.

get my roll upto the magic 3K mark so that i can try 3/6 party.
Post replies to more hands..seriously ive been here for ages i should have a higher post count [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
Get a little bit worse at table selection..how am i going to get better if i only play tables full of fish?

get in 30K+ hands(though that may be hard cause I'm gonna be out of commission with my teeth getting pulled)

get back up to 5/10

spread the money onto a few other sites

post more in this section

start reading MHUSH a lot more

start posting hands again

* Turn in all the essays that I should already have turned in.

* Play at least 5k more hands of .5/1$ 6-max and move up to 1/2$ if I'm still 3bb/100 hands.

* Getting better at raising/folding on the river

* Buy a TV
