how/when did Sklansky make money playing video games?
 
there is a quote in the begining of his new NL book ( as well as his other books i assume ) stating that he has at times made income from video games.

anyone know anything about this ? miss pac man tournaments?

Back in 1982 Sklansky and Malmuth robbed a shipping container at a west coast port and stole approximately 50000 Atari 2600's. At the time these were worth about $150 per unit on the street. This is well known among poker circles.

In the 80's it was fairly common to wager on the outcome of video games (arcade) just like, say, pool. That's presumably what the reference is.

In particular, it was common for businessmen on their lunch breaks to gamble at arcades against six year old kids. At least that's what I recall from The Wizard.
