PartyPoker $55 Speed Tournament, Big Blind is t400 (6 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com
UTG (t2323) UTG+1 (t4305) CO (t3582) Button (t1700) Hero (t2110) BB (t5980) Preflop: Hero is in SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 pushes (t4305) CO folds, Button folds, Hero folds,BB says:"ak" BB folds I was told by another poster that BB was a good regular/probably a 2+2er. When i went back and looked over this tourney i was surprised to see that he folded AK. UTG+1 has not been a total rock up to this point, but he hasnt been a laggy fish either. Im not sure if I could fold AK here, but then again, im not sure if its correct either. |
Re: $55 - Call with AK?
i think in BB's place theres no reason to flip, he has a comfortable stack. Also, he'd be calling the 2nd stack. It'd be different if a shorty pushed, I think he'd call.
BTW are you sure he has AK? and good fold of the JT. |
Re: $55 - Call with AK?
Is it AKo or suited? AKo is a fold AKs is close.

Re: $55 - Call with AK?
I wouldn't tell the table I'm folding AK. It sets yourself up to get pushed on more.

Re: $55 - Call with AK?
I don't think he's 2p2 actually. If he is, he throws a lot more standard and min raises in the mix than most 2p2ers.

Re: $55 - Call with AK?
There's a very high chance that AK would be up against a pp. That's not something I would want as chip leader going against the second biggest stack.

Btw, this is exactly why you shouldn't turn chat off.

Re: $55 - Call with AK?
I'd call. You've still got chips if you lose and you're not gonna see AA/KK there very often.
