Kings in a typical bad situation? Evaluate this play please.
I'm new to the table, happy to find kings, not too happy to have this many players, a raise in front and an unfriendly flop. The raise on the turn put me even more on the defensive.
Am I a wuss or appropriately cautious here? *grunch from the cheap seats*
It looks a little passive to me. I guess opponent could have 67 or A2 here but I have also seen people reraise with a strong draw. I don't think its a big mistake but I would probably 3 bet the flop and see what the opponent does. If he calls I would go ahead and bet the turn. The other choice would be to call the flop and check raise the turn with the non heart. The 3 is not really a scare card so I would bet/call here. Any 3 bet and I would call down. |

UTG can be raising a ton of hands that you beat, such as AhQ, 99-JJ, or even 89s. You have to 3-bet that flop and try to also push out the button. The hand plays out more easily from there.
That's a nice, safe turn. All draws are still whiffing. Checkraise it. |

This flop isn't particularly scary. 3-bet the flop and go from there.
