Quitting Everything

I know nobody cares, but I'm posting this because I think it will help me get started and in the end accomplish my goal.

I'm looking for some tips/advice/gameplan for quitting a number of my vices.

I'm looking to quit the following
-weed
-caffeine
-cigs

I use all three of these everyday. I think quitting all at the same time is too dificult, so I'm doing one at a time. So far my plan is to go cold turkey, then use the remaining vice(s) as a crutch to get me through the rough times.

I'm starting with the weed, because that will make the biggest change in my life. I have a bit of herb left, so I'll finish that today and officially start tomorrow.

This will suck....

Oh lord. Good luck to you sir.

I gave up cigs in Jan.
I gave up weed a few weeks ago
I will kill someone if I give up caffeine

And recently (since giving up weed) and being under a TON of stress in my personal life have snuck a few cigs so as to not completely go insane.

It's hard, but I wish you the best of luck.

Sure you will.

If you want to quit, just quit now, don't make up some imaginary future date that you will quit on.

Give your weed to someone, or throw it away.

just curious. can you tell us why you are quitting each of the three. I guess its usually kind of obvious but sometimes people have very specific reasons.

Weed is tough, when its around its almost impossible to turn down. If you go about four days without smoking weed though you will notice a significant increase in your ability to concentrate and find that you can get up in the morning without feeling so tired.

Good luck, its not easy.

try giving up weed or cigs first, caffiene is prolly the least harmful to ur system, so u'll prolly increase caffiene intake while trying to kick the other habits...good luck...

I run into the herbal conundrum once a year or so.

Just kick, man. Hibernate for a week. Drink water. Eat more.

Cigs and caffeine? Never mind. Life's too short.

Edit: Well, I did give up smoking for 8 months. One degenerate misstep and off goes the tl;dr.

i've recently started a diet, which is good because i've already lost like 12 pounds in a month. unfortunately since i'm a little girl and i used to eat to self-medicate, i now smoke a lot to make up for not eating all the time. GOOD TRADE BPS

Man, this thread and the other coffee thread is making me want to have a nice big cup of Turkish coffee and a few cigarettes to smoke while I drink it and read the paper. I miss coffee and cigarettes.
