Getting a job after college
I'm looking for a job post-college, but I'm trying to figure out what a "good" job is? What is a decent salary and one that will afford me some cash to play aroudn with (read trips to Vegas)? Any experience out there? I'm graduating from Boston College with a major in Physics but I don't want to go to grad school so I'm trying to figure out what to do next...

Boomerang back to your parent's house.
Screw working. Masturbating to internet porn in your parent's basement is the [censored]! [kidding] |

Two words: career center. Also, how do you go all the way through a college education without knowing approximately what your job prospects are or what to expect?

[/ QUOTE ] Seriously, this is like majoring in nursing and asking what your job options are. I understand that your 40-year plan may not be laid out yet, but you should have SOME kind of idea as to what kind of doors your degree will open. |

I'm thinking about possibly working with Microsoft (have offer) or possibly going into business. I really don't know though, and I'm willing to shop around different jobs for a couple years. |
