I am having directv installed tomorrow(bye bye comcast!) and im pretty excited. im getting sunday ticket as well as the setanta networks for soccer. any other sunday ticket users wanna get me hyped about it? are all the games in hd? some? how does that work?

I specifically did not get direct tv, because I dont want to lose any more hair having to sweat games. but, ya they are all in HD.

If you want the games in HD, you have to pony up for the SuperFan package in addition to Sunday Ticket. If you get that, usually all but about 2 games each week are available in HD.

I just to hack direct tv cards.. i wonder if i can still do it with the updated cards hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i could make a killing on these forums [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Like Keats said, you have to pay the extra $100 to get Superfan. This has a couple HD games a week, the channel with 8 games on one screen and short cuts. Short cuts are the games with all the dead time cut out. I had it last year but didn't renew it for this year, just the regular ticket.

most of the games are in HD...but you have to get the SuperFan option to see those...

this will be my 2nd year with Sunday Ticket and I love it...any Vegas locals who want to come watch football with me, let me know!

Sunday ticket is awesome. I just wish they'd offer it half price to season ticket holders. Seems like they're missing out on a market of the most die hard fans there are because people like myself aren't going to pay full price when they'll only use it half the time.

I am jealous. I can't get DirecTV at my (new) place. I had it for the last 2 years - with NFL Sunday Ticket and it was awesome.

DirecTV has FSC, GolTV, and Setanta Sports. It's heaven for a soccer fan.

As for HD, the poster who said MOST of the games in HD is right. E.g., this week: BAL/TB, NYJ/TEN, and SF/ARI are not available in HD through Sunday Ticket. The other 9 games are.
