Sick call with 4 high at $500/$1000 HU
 

First of all, I'm not this guy. I've come across this hand at a Swedish poker forum and it caused quite a fight between people who think this must be a misclick and some who think pot odds and a strong read justified a call. There was even some comments from TexasLimitKing himself where he said that he knew what he was doing after playing a lot of HU against this guy.

So, I would very much like to have some comments on this from people who play HU at similar levels. Can this call ever be justified?

You'd expect that anyone who had a program to reveal what the opponents whole cards were would raise here to prevent people from becoming suspicious.

Im guessing the guy didnt want to admit that he misread the board.

This is standard. He obviously realised that he must be up against a pocket pair lower then 6's. Only reason he didnt raise the river was metagame imho.
