Not making money off AA
I was dealt AA 3 times over a couple hour session at .05/.10NL. All three times i was in Cutoff or the button. The table had many players who were just limping preflop so i would make a preflop pot size bet generally about .40 and all three times the table would fold around and i would only make about .25 or .30 Should i be playing this differently with the texture of the table or am I playing correctly and just not making money because of the weak starting hands of the table?

Re: Not making money off AA
You're playing it fine, what do you want to do, limp it and be up against 5 different hands? Sample size, etc.

Re: Not making money off AA
Three hands is not a large sample size when it comes to AA. Sorry man, but you just have to play more and play well.

Re: Not making money off AA
No joke I was just trying to see if i was doing something wrong. All the stuff i read says to play it like i did but i wanted to know if at that low of a limit if that was still the way to play it. I just trying to learn as much about the game as i can.

Re: Not making money off AA
You don't always have to make money with AA !

Re: Not making money off AA
if after 100k of hands, you still don't win with AA, then maybe you have a case

Re: Not making money off AA
i've gotton AA more than three times my question was specific to a low limit table with alot of passive limping. Do i take the chance of getting out flopped at the hope of someone making a partial hand or do i stick with the sound play of decent raise preflop.

Re: Not making money off AA
