Re: Some river value bet situations.

Hand 1: check-call, try to induce a bluff with a busted flush.
Hand 2: check behind to avoid having to wash the puke out of your mouth when on of them 3-towns you.
Hand 3: is AK firing 2 barrels, here? Is KK folding? Check behind.

Re: Some river value bet situations.

1. Check-call
2. Check behind
3. I like betting, I can't imagine someone with that AF would check the river with a Q or T in a blind steal situation. He might call with A high though.

Re: Some river value bet situations.

Hand 1: check/call.
There are only a few hands that are calling you here that you beat, but there are a lot of hands that bluff at you. In fact, many of the hands that you beat are probably betting at you too (since they're mostly PPs and think your check means you missed a draw).

Hand 2: bet.
No draws on the flop came in. It doesn't make sense that someone had a big hand on the flop and then checked the turn (and didn't c/r). You're ahead here at least 50% of the time.

Hand 3: Bet, but meh.
About 90% of the time, villain has 2 broadways that didn't hit the board. He's only calling you with his broadways a little more often than he's calling you with Tx or JJ.
