Well, I wouldn't have even played the hand preflop. That's what lead to harder decisions.

I might check raise after the flop -- this will INSTANTLY let you know where you are in the hand. If he's reraising over you, I'd be worried.

Besides that, I think you should have made a bet on the river. If you were willing to call 65, why not bet it first?
