How would you play it?

Pretty loose and passive game, none of the opponents is overly aggressive, I did't have enough stats on them, just played couple of rounds.

usually fold preflop, but whatever

I'd raise the turn and take a free SD.

as played bet river.

I think I'd probably want one or two more callers here to overlimp from MP2 with these cards.

I'm finding the turn donk bet has more substance when there's been no previous show of strength in the hand. That said, I got donked seven different times yesterday by dudes that just paired the turn and though YEAH that guy was bluffing with his flop bet LOL. I say raise the turn, take the free showdown. As it played, yes, you bet the river, you have to play top pair strong at these limits.

If SB just made a straight, we would likely get 3-bet on our free SD play. I like calling the turn bet better.

You're right, as played, bet the river.

and if you are 3-bet on the turn you are screwed and folding is really easy.

Ok, and I guess with the extra equity from the caller in the middle, that more than makes up for not seeing a showdown. Sounds good.

What would we get three bet by here? Two pair, a set, or a straight. We're drawing at 5 outs on the two pair, 2 outs on the set, and dead to the straight. Let's say that's maybe 3 outs. If he's capable of a check-raise semi-bluff, we are sitting at the wrong table LOL.

If you call the turn bet, you're putting in another bet on the river. If his hand is made now or on the river, you pay the same as if you raise and he calls. If he makes his hand on the river after you raise, he will try to check-raise you and you will outsmart him by checking behind hah hah. If you are ahead and stay that way, you win the same. And if he takes you to three-town, you can pretty safely fold in this medium sized pot with only 3 or so outs to continue.

So I stick to my guns and raise the turn.

Nitpick: Actually, we are dead against a set and have between 3 and 9 outs on the two pair dependng on exactly which two pair it is. (In any case the conclusion is the same.)

Re: How would you play it?

check river. would get check raised by straight, 2 pair (loose game, not out of the question) or a pocket overpair. bail or make a crying call if raised.
