A few poker related businesses :
I've had a few ideas for poker related businesses.
#1 - A poker school. Pretty self explanatory. Teach people how to win at poker for money. It would also be an excellent way to make serious money as an affiliate. #2 - Rake Free xxxx A website that co-ordinates rake free poker games in your area. This wouldn't make money on it's own but would be an excellent resource for drawing clients to the other businesses. #3 - Bonus Clearing Pay people to let you clear their bonuses / stake them to clear their own bonuses under your supervision. Esp. good for casino whoring, if thats still possible. #4 - Staking Train and stake people to multitable low limit hold'em (2/4-5/10 ish). This works very well with bonus whoring. |
Re: A few poker related businesses :
1:sounds like a nice Idea.
2: bad idea, due to legislation. 3: why not clear ur own bonuses? 4: If these ppl can win at say 5/10... they prolly dont want u to stake em. IF u staked em why would they play well? |

You're an online poker affiliate? Sounds interesting? Can you please PM me your name, address and phone number so we can talk further about this?

Re: A few poker related businesses :
#1 is a good idea, and a lot of people are already doing it very succesfully.
#2 Be careful with this one. In the Chicago area, the fuzz go around the internet looking for people organizing illegal games. Then they send out the SWAT team to bust the $2-$4 game that you organized, and hold you responsible. #3 is retarded. Bonus clearing is so easy, people won't give up money to let you do it on their accounts. And only homeless people would need to be staked. I started playing poker and casinos online with $150, and I had $17K by the end of the first year. It doesn't require a large bankroll. #4 could work, but I'm not sure it would be worth the time and effort to teach people the game just so you can get a cut of their $6/hour. |
