TPGK, slow played and raised allin
 

500+60 live MTT. Blinds 50/100. 4 limpers. I raise to 700 in SB with AQo. UTG limper, older oriental man calls. Flop comes AT2,r. For some reason I check the drawless flop. Turn is a K making a 2-flush. I bet 1200. Villain raises allin for 7200 more in addition to the 1200. Should I call? I know the raise OOP and the flop check might be questionable.

I think there's a good enough chance you're ahead of his range that you should call. His going all in makes me think that part of the value of his hand is probably a flush draw...maybe along with an A with lower kicker or along with a T or lower pair.

I know you say the raise OOP and flop check might be questionable, but that just seems really awful to me. It's hard to talk about this hand without talking about that. You made the pot super-large, basically got the flop you wanted, and checked. I just can't make sense of that. If you're going to raise pf, you got to follow through on the flop when you hit your hand.

As for the turn, I'm thinking villain has a strong hand that is afraid of a flush. So I'm thinking set or QJ. Whatever, you gotta fold, I think.

On the one hand, I thought my strange flop play might cause him to make a move on me. Of course I could be trapping with a stronger hand than I had. I also wasn't sure after his raise if I hadn't picked up something subconciously that he was strong and that is why I checked the flop.

It seemed like the push could be a set or 2-pair, could be a flush draw probably with a straight draw or pair, and could be a move with a weak holding or nothing.

FWIW, I agree with the previous two posts. The shove is either a stone bluff or a pretty good indication that opponent reads you for the Ace and has it covered. If the opponent has not shown any predilection for bluffs and semi's, then I can't believe your situation is very promising. As you say the root cause of your predicament is the flop check. Hard to say. That was a pretty good flop for you, but whether it met the criteria for offering a free card is debatable.

Given the action if I had to stake my life on your opponnent having one particular hand I would go with pocket tens. Give it up.
