What\'s the Right Move Here? Final Table of $20K Guaranteed $3R
The BB has been very aggressive and doing alot of restealing, especially against me since there were about 16 players left. Everytime I raised and he played back at me previously, I had folded. Is this a push, call, or fold in your opinion?

When he restole before, did he make these small reraises or did he put you all-in? If this is his standard restealraise I would shove my chips in his face.

I think folding is out of the question. You can't continue to be pushed around, especially with very solid hands.
The most logical move, to me, would be to push. Depending upon how he's reacted in the past to someone pushing back (and any hands he's shown down after re-raising), I might consider calling, then pushing. I wouldn't do this in this case, because he will probably push regardless of the flop, with half your chips already in the pot. I don't think it makes sense to put half your chips in the pot with a hand that will probably miss the flop, then fold to a bet. |

The raise he made here was his standard raise every time. He never once put it all in. Also, no one up until that point had played back at him since it was always for all of their chips and most players were trying to grind it out until the final table. I would be the first player making a stand.

If he actually has a hand, sorry, but that's poker. |

The blinds were 30/60k right? Something like 100+ k in the pot before any cards are out? 10% boost or more to your stack to take whats in the middle? You got around a million, you have a great hand, why not instead of 3x raise raise half your stack knowing you will call any push or just open push all in? The blinds and antes at this point you should be glad to take down without a showdown.

[/ QUOTE ] Because if the other guy has been restealing against you aggressively, and you've been folding to his aggression, why not make him think you have a hand that you're capable of raise/folding again, as opposed to raising so much that he only gives you action when he has a hand better than yours? |
