25/50 KK vs KKF
maybe misplayed. this hand is very thin, but what do you think of my turn/river thinking?
Party Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $25/$50 10 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $5209 Button: $5000 Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is UTG+1 with http://www.neildewhurst.com/wp-conte...c-cards/kd.png http://www.neildewhurst.com/wp-conte...c-cards/kc.png UTG folds, Hero raises to $175, 5 folds, Button calls, 2 folds. Turn: http://www.neildewhurst.com/wp-conte...c-cards/ah.png ($1025, 2 players) Hero checks, Button bets $1000, Hero calls. River: http://www.neildewhurst.com/wp-conte...c-cards/6c.png ($3025, 2 players) Hero checks, Button bets $2035.71, Hero calls. flop his range is obviously wide. turn i shouldve bet, but checked while multitabling. i was then really close to checkraising and ending it there, but here was my thinking.. if i check call the turn, he knows i have one pair, big ace-ish. now that he knows that im weak, i have to be committed to calling most rivers. the flush coming is obv a great card for him to follow through a bluff with. i had no read on the wierd slider bet. i dont think he bets the turn there with a naked flush draw (maybe he does with combo, but hed prob raise flop with one of those), since the A is a scare card for him to get raised off. because of that, i can only put him on AT that i lose to. |
Re: 25/50 KK vs KKF
why cant he have AA, TT, 99, or 33? not saying that its a fold, cuz i dont know, but i think juts having his range at AT or bluff is limietd

Re: 25/50 KK vs KKF
He probably could have a wide range here. I would probably just bet the turn normally and probably call or push over a raise, but maybe that's insane (I haven't played much with KKF). Check/raising the turn is also good. But your line is also ok, seems to me. I definitely think c/c river is best once you get there as you did.

Re: 25/50 KK vs KKF
Why would he not simply call with a flush-draw and use any scare-cards he can use? (or with 78 for that matter)

Re: 25/50 KK vs KKF
Why is it a post everyday in HSNL about a hand vs KKF the last days?

Nielso, zeus:
yea i shouldve played this differently. those hands are obviously valid also. i guess the way i played it was vs a narrower portion of his range than i had originally thought in-game. Hatinfat [ QUOTE ] Why is it a post everyday HSNL about a hand vs KKF the last days? [/ QUOTE ] maybe cause he plays well and hands are interesting vs him? or would you rather the typical moronic hand posts in this forum: "i have one pair and am raised on flop what should i do" |
Re: 25/50 KK vs KKF
