Am I a massive girlie-man with no testicles??? (PP NL100)

1) For not making my flop bet larger?
2) For not firing a strong second barrel here?
3) As played, for not calling the river bet with Ace high?

I'm firing $20 on the turn. As played, I'm probably folding the river.

Your flop is straight. I second barrell here sometimes. River is a call for sure, just not enough to lay it down.

I think you're beat on the river more often than not, but not nearly enough to fold to that weak sauce.

The river bet looks like a missed flush draw. It's certainly a better shot than 3.7 - 1. I call.

I really don't understand why you'd fire again on the turn vs this type of player. Are you betting for value?

Flop and turn are fine. River is a bit more debatable - I think this is just about a call against a 1/3PSB from an aggro player after this action, but you'll see some random pair fairly often.

I think against this player this is ok. I wouldn't 2nd barrel, and I personally ain't folding river getting almost 4-1

Re: Am I a massive girlie-man with no testicles??? (PP NL100)

The only reason I contemplate the river call is the 20% WSD. Be warned that the 20% might also mean that he goes to showdown with any piece of the board. A real read would be much more useful.

I think the decision is so close that you aren't gaining/losing enough value to worry about which decision you choose.

BTW - Turn check is fine. The occasional 2nd barrel is fine a s well.

I think this is fine. There's a reason he's 56 - 20 W$SD. Against a thinking player, a turn PSB or so is okay, but against this guy it may be spewing.

Once you check the turn, the river fold is automatic.

The times you pick off AQ etc... will be far outweighed by the times you get called with two pair or trips.
