As we age and make our way towards death
 

something funny happens to some of us. Some of us grow up. Not me, not too much. But some.

And when people grow up they sometimes do funny things. Sometimes they get married. Sometimes they suddenly lose pleasure in previous games. Lose pleasure in past people and relationships.

Sometimes when a person we know is suddenly afflicted with such growth, the change is drastic. Almost as if the person is no longer the same person. Almost as if the person we knew has died.

Recently, we had a couple friends on this forum grow up. They participated in that silly little grown-up thing called marriage. They lost the pleasures they once took from participating in this forum.

In essence they have died.
