This is a situation that's still a bit tricky for me. Chances are i'm drawing live and im probably ahead of some straight draws he might be betting. What's the plan though? Raise? Call, planning to fold on the turn? How about floating and betting the turn if he doesnt bet? What about folding? I'm still confused about the best line here without a good read on villain.

He could have anything. If you have no read, just fold and wait for a better spot. At this level there's no point in floating someone and trying to get them off a hand like top pair. Chances are they won't lay it down.

I usually fold and wonder why they didn't wait to check-raise my continuation bet.

Don't call, its fold or raise time, weighted toward fold.
Looks like he's on 98/67 and isnt letting go. Its weighted toward raise for me here against donk when he bets 1 or 2 bb lead into me when I have whiffed overcards. Oftentimes for straightforward bad donk that means bottom pair or low pocket pair, which he'll let go of.
