Anyone got any suggestions for dealing with eyestrain?

I get really bad eyestrain after playing for a while. I play on two LCDs and have tried taking breaks but its still bad. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Have your eyes checked. Try reading glasses with a moderate amount of magnification. There are also things called "computer glasses" that are bifocals. If you wear contacts, try wearying glasses at the computer instead.

Obviously you should contact an eye care specialist for advice. However, make sure you take a break of 5 minutes at least once ever hour. During your breaks go outside and vary your focus between close and distant objects.

Seriously man if your eyes hurt talk to a doctor.

Looking up at your monitor will keep a constant strain on the muscles around your eyes. Ideally the top of your monitor should be at the same level as your eyes.
Sometime it's hard with the size of the monitors these days...but you can always place the table you are playing in the bottom part of the screen.

Keeping the room well lit also helps. Can't hurt to see the eye doctor.

Also, according to my optometrist, your eyes have more trouble focusing if your pupils are dilated. So yeah, light is good.
