Live 6/12,... TP + OESD facing heat from confusing player...

Live Bay 101 6/12...

the table as a whole was pretty nice... a mix of tight passives, loose passives, and one or two LAG/TAGs

mp1: have probably played 20 hours with him... somewhat confusing player... i've seen him raise A-7o third in to the pot... pretty much always raises premium hands preflop... but will mix it up raising/limping with hands like JTS and QJs... seen him play similar draws differently... seems to change gears pretty well pre+post flop, though at times it seems he costs himself some money
from FPS with both very strong/marginal holdings postflop...

Button: an old-timer... regular at 3/6 and 6/12... dealers know him by name etc... is pretty passive... a turn check-raise/raise is generally a sign to get the hell out of the pot w/ just about anything not close to the nuts... haven't seen any ridiculous call downs etc, knows when to ditch a hand... is a good player for not being able to see the board 1/2 the time...

hero is dealt: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in mp3

pre-flop: utg limps, some folds, mp1 limps, fold, hero limps, some folds, old timer calls on the button, sb folds, bb checks
(4 players, 4 small bets)
flop comes down: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

bb checks, mp1 bets, hero raises, papa calls, bb folds, mp1 3-bets, hero calls, papa calls...
(3 players, 6.5 Big bets)
turn comes: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

mp1 bets, hero calls ???, papa calls

(3 players, 9.5 big bets)

river comes: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

mp1 bets, hero folds...

thoughts on any level would be appreciated...

i feel like it was a very iffy turn call, given that the old timer was willing to call two cold on the flop, and could easily be popping it up behind me with the A forcing me to call if it came back to me for 1 more getting 11.5 to 1 chasing the four outs (assuming mp1 didn't make it 3 bets..)

also, how would things change if papa had folded the flop or turn and these cards fell?

thanks in advance...

PF: KTo is a fold in MP.
FLOP: Good raise, sucks to get 3-bet.
RIVER: fold, look at the board, what do you think you beat here after he 3-bets the flop and then leads the turn and river?

im folding that turn. there are hardly any hands your beating, and your only clean outs are the aces to a chop.

Fold turn, don't have outs to draw even if all outs are clean, which they aren't, plus old guy could raise.

I would fold PF. Given that you didn't, fold the turn.
