NL200 6 Max Someone Plese Put Him on a Hand
 

At work so no HH, sorry. I can not put him on a hand, but am I beating anything other than a bluff on this river, and is it a bluff often enough? Any better line for this hand?

Villain is a TAG 22/13/3.5 we have not really been involved with each other, other than 3 betting each other preflop. Have not really seen too much from him, maybe a bit more aggro than the usual TAG.
He has $350 in MP, I cover on the SB.
UTG calls, Villain calls, MP calls, Button folds, Hero raises to $12 with Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], BB folds, UTG calls, Villain calls, MP folds.

Flop ~$40 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets $40, only Villain calls
Turn ~$120 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets $75, Villain calls
River ~$270 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villain bets $107.49, Hero…..?

Is it that easy? This guy is a TAG, am I wrong to think that I priced him out of his draw twice? If this was some donkey, I would have dropped it without a second thought...

What hands could he have that you beat? A10? JJ? I think he raises PF with JJ. I can't see him calling you with 99, etc. He could have a set but I think he would have done something on the turn especially with the draws. He could have some combo draw like A3h or JQh or AKh (probally raised pf).

I have to admit that I really had a ton of trouble putting him on a hand here and the one that I thought was most likely at the time definitely had some really bad logic involved in it.

I thought that JJ was a definite possibilty, but a 23/12 TAG raises that there (I should know [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]). I also thought about combo draws, but I thought they would raise me on the flop.

So I am assuming this is an easy fold getting 3.5/1 right?

Also any other lines for this hand?

i'm gonna go with T9 or a set

i dont think you're beating anything. JJ is unlikely and there's no missed draw he could be bluffing on the river

Don't you think a set c/rs the turn since the board is very draw heavy especially from the villian who is said to be tag.

have to be a really tight tag to fold here, plus he probably thought his overcards were good too (and they were), so it's not a terrible call, especially if you're going to pay off on the river..

I think sets don't bet the river here with all the draws coming in.

no, villian is in position. I wouldnt worry about a draw given hero's probable hand range for raising out of the blinds
