Jacksonville: St. Johns Greyhound Park?

Has anyone ever played here ? I am travelling to Jacksonville on business, and I may play some poker in the evenings after I finish work. Am I better off playing online?
First, is it true that there is a $2 cap on bet sizes?
Second, how is the tournament action?

Thanks in advance.

$2 max bet. It's state law.
There has been much wrangling about tournaments in dog tracks here in FL. I doubt they have anything you'd be interested in playing.
Below, you will see everyone posting how it's better to play online. Enjoy!

It's a really friendly fun clean place. The Tournaments are fast. Everyone I talked to said you have to catch a hand early to stay in. Plus I think the rake is really high.

The 2/2 limit games are $8 preflop regardless of who has what. Always capped.

Personally, I loved it, but I was happy to win $10 for a night.

Have a couple of beers at 7-bridges.
