have you ever fired a gun in the house?

was listening to a story on Townes Van Zandt and was interested if anyone in OOT had done this...

As for myself, in MT, in the mid 80's, we had a packrat and the old man told me to grab the .22 and put a few shells in the [censored] - so I have fired guns in the house...otherwise it was just a bb pistol at cans in the living room -

It was very uneventful, i shot it at the floor and was beaten very harshly for my foolish actions.

Too bad there wasn't someone to beat your dad for his foolish action of leaving a loaded gun in an unlocked container when there are children in the house. No offense intended to your family, but it is my opinion that you were not in the wrong there.

Surely I was wrong, and deserved to get [censored] kicked out of me, it was in the place where i had no business being and i did something that I clearly was not suposed to do.

I tested homemade silencers on .22's and fired these in my closed garage. I don't know if this qualifies as in the house.
