Emotional Movies

I just finished watching Braveheart, for the second time should be added. I watched it as a kid and remember it as a great movie, but i wanted to watch it again. It should be said that i am never really affected by movies in any way, i rarely feel any kind of sympathy with the characters and 5 minutes after the movie ends i have already stopped thinking about it. But this movie, for some reason, was different. I have only once been close to tears when watching a movie before, and that was "Million dollar baby". But this movie was different, it had me standing up from my chair, tears in my eyes screaming as if i was watching a game of football. (minus the tears)

Wow, never thought that would happen.

What movies, if any, have in any significant way affected you emotionally?

I have, as you might have already guessed, two names. Braveheart and Million Dollar Baby.

Well, I'm exactly the opposite, and pretty much cry like a baby, if anything the least bit sad happens, so here's 10 just of the top of my head:

Dead Poets Society
Rain Man
Titanic
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind
Vanilla Sky
LotR
American History X
Finding Neverland

This seems to happen to me quite often when watching war movies. Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, The Last Samurai etc...

I would also throw in Old Boy.

the first time i saw requiem for a dream i really disturbed...not sad, but just disturbed...it actually bothered me that connelly would go thru such a change, i think aranofsky did a good job showing the transition of their relationship

Shakespeare in Love... hardest i've ever cried in any movie... of course, probably had more to do with recent breakup with tall blonde who was an older, hicktown version of paltrow
