2/4 pair+FD: a case for checking?

Crypto 2/4

CO is 70/0/0/0.9 after only 30
BB is 52/2/0.7 after 50

One limper to me on button. I raise Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] BB calls, CO calls.
Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] . I bet, both call.
Turn A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. …checked to me.

I wouldn’t usually think about this and auto-bet. But on reflection there is a case for checking. Isn’t there?

Do not check, bet because:

1. You are likely still ahead, just cause one overcard comes does not mean you are behind all of a sudden
2. Even if you aren't ahead, you have very high equity - meaning that your flush draw plus 2nd pair can improve into a winner a good amount of time
3. Your opponents are pussies, with their low aggression levels, they proably won't check raise an Ace most likely you will be only paying 1 BB on the turn if you are taking the worse of it, which is not likely

4. The Ace could be a scare card for them too.
5. We don't want to give a hand like KJ or KQ infinite odds to draw out on you.

To paraphrase a prolific poster on this forumn: Don't over think this, just bet.

I'd never check this.

I thought I'd get responses like these, but still, I like overthinking. What if the pot was unraised PF (6SB on turn)?

I've been betting, betting, betting for so long that I'm trying to stop and re-evaluate.

There's a difference between evaluating and overthinking. By all means reevaluate, but coming to any other conclusion but betting is a mistake here IMO.

I like this idea and I've been doing the same (reflecting more on the benefits of being passive/weak-tight).

But in this situation, against this lineup of players, this is a pretty clear bet.
