$55 - Bleh call, bubble. etc

Tough table. BB is being super passive and not abusing the little 'uns to his left. The little uns are abusing me. BB has called me with terrible hands the last two times I've pushed. Bummer.

CO and Button are good $55 regulars.

You call?

I think you're ahead of CO's range, and you have a bigger stack, so I would call. Even if bb calls and busts you, as long as you beat CO you still take 3rd.

I dont play the $55 so may be totally off base here with my thinking, but I think I let the BB and CO play this one, hope it goes the right way and if not hope for some kind of hand real soon. I certainly dont want to take a weak Ace versus 2 opponents here.

I fold. BB is calling 100 chips, if that fails button is all in in his big blind before you are.

I agree...you have a decent shot at luckboxing your way straight to second place here. I would be interested to see some math on this...I'm sadly at work now so can't do so.

I would call. You are taking a shot to knock out CO w/ what is most likely the better hand, and even if you lose, you are still in better shape than the button.

This is gross, I think you need to fold .

But here are the numbers:

If you call and win vs both, equity is: .3311

If you call and win vs bb but lose vs CO, equity is: ~.1265

If you fold and BB beats CO, equity is .2626

If you fold and CO beats BB, equity is .1468

If you call and BB beats you both, equity is .2000 obv

And if you call and lose your equity is 0.

There are the numbers, now I need the equation.

Your assuming that BB won't come along for the ride. That is a very bad assumption.

Of course I am assuming BB will call. I want him to call and help knock out CO. The only gross thing is if BB pushes over me and loses, but as I said before, we are still in better shape than the button.
