This was a really poorly designed poll. This one is only for AMERICAN NON-SOCCER FANS.

I am not a soccer fan. Have to work so I can't watch these weekday games; though I probably would if I could and I watch the weekend games. Didn't watch 4 years ago when they were on at 3:00 a.m. est. '98 I don't remember. I remember I enjoyed the '94 games in the U.S. though, but then I had to go to camp and missed knockout round because I was like 13 then. I dunno it's ok, I watch mostly because it's something different and I don't like MLB or NBA so summer is a bad sports time for me; and it's fun to root for the U.S. beat the countries that care so much more and wish America were dead. I will never become a 'soccer fan' though.

So far I'm surprised at how much less I'm enjoying the WC than I expected. It's like every cliche about why soccer is not popular in the US has been validated.

I work with a German citizen who has been schooling me on the finer points of the world's game; so I have enjoyed this far more than I expected to.

....we watch at work on Univision. Estados Unidos Numero Uno!

I don't hate soccer or anything, though I am very annoyed by the soccer guy who yesterday tried to convince me it is a more physical sport than hockey. I am enjoying this WC more than the last one, which I think is entirely due to my ability to use Tivo to speed through the extremely slow portions. Along those same lines, I find Tivo has dramtically increased my enjoyment of all sports on TV.

No, I'm not a soccer fan.

No, I am not surprised because I am continuing to not enjoy it.

I agree. I wanted to watch and did watch some games the first couple days, but I just can't watch more than about 10 minutes of a game, it's so boring. If I'm watching and see one goal I just think "Oh that was cool, now I don't have to watch the rest of the game because nothing else will happen."
