This was pretty bad. Is the standard move to just fold to this flop bet?

The first hand is tough. I think I like the way you played it on the flop, but I would bet the turn once it is checked again. As played, absolutely call the river. I could also see a flop bet.

I think unforunately you are probably getting called on this flop. If you had decided to bet the flop, I don't think I'd like to fire again on the turn so I'd check behind and hope for a cheap showdown.

Hand2: You might try a weak CONT bet here and give up if called. If I had checked, I'd probably call flop and fold turn if he bet again. You beat nothing here except for a complete bluff (which I agree villain may have here occasionally, but being OOP the hand becomes really hard to play and you are still often behind).

I like the check behind on the flop in the first hand. But I probably stab at the pot on the turn. Calling the river is good.

C-bet Hand2. Fold the flop the way you played it. Check/calling down is horrible.

hand 1: i actually dont mind the way you played it

hand 2: id lead this flop and fold to heat, but once you check im just shutting down on the flop.

Re: $16: JJ with an overcard on the flop (two hands)

hand 1: good
hand2: c-bet here and check/fold if called. If you plan to check the flop fold to any resistance, you kind of forced yourself into calling small bets.
