25-50 3rd barrel?

25-50 3 handed on UB. I start hand with 5000, villain covers. He's been playing somewhat passively, I might've been raising a bit too much (at least that's what it might look like, been catching some good hands).

Button folds. I raise 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] from the SB. BB calls.

Flop comes T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I pot, BB calls.

Turn comes 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I pot (??), BB calls again.

River comes J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Pot is 2700, i have 3700 behind. Fire again? If so, how much?

Preflop and flop look good and somewhat standard. I like the turn as well.

It's a little scary that he's called down on a somewhat dry board and you said he's been passive. I'm okay with giving up here or with firing. If I bet, I have a few options. I think pushing is best, hoping to take him off of something like TP. Obviously, potting is another option, but it gets called a bit more I think. A third option is betting something really small to get him off of a draw like J9, but I don't think he has that, and you should probably disregard this last part of my post.

I can't see him folding much on that river. Maybe if there was a missed FD this would be worth betting, but on this board if he was drawing then a number of his drawing hands could include a jack. If he wasn't drawing I don't think the J is a big scare card.
I lose money from the SB and I've never played that high, but I would give this up.
