5-5 nl 3 handed live game

i am playing in a 5e-5e live game in my local casino.

button 2000e
sb 500e
hero bb 1500e

Button normally on a full table is pretty solid and will only get his money in when he has the goods. From the 10 hands we played 3 handed he raised to 15 every time when on the button.

i get QsJs in the bb.

button raises to 15, sb folds, i make it 55e, button calls

flop Qh Qc 7h

i bet 90e, button insta calls.

Turn Qh Qc 7h 2h

what is my action on the turn? Bet half the pot? what if i get raised? Or just check and see what he does?

Judging by your read I bet 3/4 of the pot and fold to a raise.

Bet-folding the turn is not good when you have outs to improve your hand. Check-calling would be a better line.

PS. I stole it from HFAP by Slanksy.

CHECK that turn, imo.

Short-handed, position is king. Dont' re-raise pre-flop oop with a hand that can put you in tough spots post-flop w/ deep stacks vs good opponents... as happenned.

check/call turn, evaluate on river. If he pushes river, you may have to let it go. I suck at big laydowns, so I probably call and get stacked my AQ/KQ.

Bet the turn, call a raise. Shorthanded, deepstacked live trips is a hand you want to be getting money in the pot with. Normally you bet turn, he calls, then you bet river and he calls and you win the pot.

the turn is dependant on the player but if youre pretty sure hell bet then checking is better. if you think he might check behind with flush outs then id protect my hand if i were you. also, if hes the type to potentially bluffraise this turn then go ahead and bet-call/push, but it doesnt sound like youre worried too much about him bluffraising you too frequently on this turn. in general against most good/decent players i think checking is better. its also dependant on how he views your preflop reraising standards. if he thinks your reraise means big pocket pair and that you wont fold it to a turn bet then hes probably not going to bluff. at the same time however, he shouldnt be calling this flop if he puts you on a big pair unless he has a queen or a flush draw, or a competitive big pair, which should make you a bit worried about his hand range.
