NL$1k, calling for a split on the river

Villain is 35/16/3.4. More aggro on the flop than on the other streets. I've reraised him every time he has opened the last few orbits. Last time he typed "having fun?" in the chatbox before he folded. Very next hand:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

SB ($2290.16)
BB ($1177.50)
UTG ($1899.30)
MP (villain) ($1197)
Hero ($2001.12)
Button ($1000)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $5.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP(villain) raises to $30</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $100</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP :#A500AF(villain)/ calls $70.

Flop: ($215) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
villain checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $150</font>, villain calls $150.

Turn: ($515) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
villain checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $250</font>, villain calls $250.

River: ($1015) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">villain instapushes for $697</font>, Hero..?

Final Pot: $1712

edit: On party, if it makes a difference. And comments on other streets are welcome too.

wow I guess i would call because I couldn't put you on pocket 9's and would probably go all in with anything in his position but I hate situations like this

Why the small flop and turn bets? I want to give him the chance to make a heroic call before the board gets too scary + protect my hand.

Bet more on flop and turn and you won't even have a river decision.

Easy call. Your good here 2/3 times, and the pot is laying you just worse than even money.

Bet 500 on the turn.

Yeah. I agree my turn bet is bad. A case can be made for making it more preflop too, even though $100 was the amount I made it all the other times.

But is the river really an easy call?
