Badugi

Can anyone explain to me exactly how this game works, and just why it is supposedly taking the poker world by storm?

Isn't it just a variation on triple-draw?

It is a great gambling game, and good players can still push their edges, even if theyre small. I think its relative uniqueness compared to other variations of poker might have something to do with it too.

Just curious, what made you say it was supposedly taking the poker world by storm? Its apparent frequent rotation in mid-higher mixed games?

I really want to know how this game plays limit, as I only get to play it HL online.

The highest HL game I've seen go is the 100 buyin and people were making blatantly incorrect plays every single hand that might be correct in limit. If I was a smart person I would try and play in it any time it went, unfortunately I'm stupid and I'll keep taking the daily ride to variance city in shorthanded holdem.

Even the regulars are usually awful in those games up to the 200, good times.

I had in my head that the swings in that game are really bad but I think Im being biased just because Ive been running bad in it over like 2000 hands. I want to say the swings are bad but it seems most of the time its just kind of a steady chipping away at people so I dunno, I dont have enough hands yet to tell I guess.
