Has this every happened to you? Problem with Party
 

Every once in a while I will be playing on party and as soon as it gets to me it will only give me a few seconds (like 2-6) to hit fold/call/raise, then it folds my hand for not responding in time. WTF??? Anyone ever experience anything like this or have a solution to it?

Generally, when this occurs, it is a delay in your internet connection. By the time you are completely reconnected, you have been timed down to the last few seconds, even though on your end it appears that the action just got to you.

If you're using wireless... DON'T. My dell inspiron did this alot. Switching to ethernet fixed the problem.

Ive been having a similar problem, might it be the same? There have been pauses and delays, kind of like split second blips, in the Party software, often when its your turn to act, but sometimes during other times.

Its not critical, but adds up when you have 5-8 games going at once and is REALLY annoying.

I know its not my internet connection, because it works fine on another computer which is connected to the same router.

It seems to be either since the last party upgrade, or since I got my new system... not sure.

A bug that seems to come hand in hand with it is: If I open a table it will not appear on the screen as another window until I use the Tile Windows button (in the upper right)
