PostgreSQL DB size after backup?

Hi all,

I have 769MB postgreSQL PT database, but after backup it has only 52MB! It is all right?

Sounds about right. You could always just restore from the backup file to see, though.

As someone who moved his DBs from one computer to another via the backup process, I can give some assurance that the extremely reduced size is proper.
