Folding Aces Preflop
I was playing a WSOP semi-finals qualifier last night when I was brought to a decision in which i think i made a great laydown. There was 1 person to go before the seats were given away to the WSOP finals tourny and i wasnt about to be the bubble boy.
UG - $47000 - raises to 4400 - ? MP1 - $13000 - folds MP2 - $27200 - folds ME - $39800 - reraise to 10000 - AA CO - $71100 - reraise All In - AK SB - $19900 - Call All In - 1010 BB - $42000 - Call All In - KK The UG original raiser folded and i actually sat and thought about it. 1 person to go out and the tourny was over, the seats were given out, and I would be in the finals. So with 3 all-ins in front of me i folded my AA. Here are the results: Flop: 7 8 K Turn: J River: 9 CO is under 30k with K's SB is over 60k with a straight BB stays about the same with a swt of K's And i would have been eliminated! 2 hands later the last player was eliminated and my ticket was stamped. So was it a good play laying down aces preflop? I think so. Will i ever do it again? Probably not! |

Re: Folding Aces Preflop
Id fold Aces there everytime if there are going to be multiple people all-in. Let them [censored] themselves rather than u getting [censored].

Re: Folding Aces Preflop
pretty obvious fold.
COs raise was absolutely terrible. BBs call is questionable as well. |

Re: Folding Aces Preflop

And i would have been eliminated! [/ QUOTE ] The cards would have been different had you have called. Or paused for a millisecond... or anything... |
