Wilson Omaha Software, Help Please

I received the Wilson Omaha High software as a gift today and it didn't have any manual.

Would anyone please let me know THE best way to learn using this software?

It is the latest version and I play PL Omaha (High) live 6 days a week.

Any help on the optimum way to use it would be greatly appreciated.

Any discussion of this software would be appreciated.

Sincere thanks.

I find them to be a good portion of worthless if you know anything about the game. The best use is to plug in random hands, with 3 or more players, and see which is winner agaisnt random boards. You can learn most of this from sites which compute cards you input, but I haven't found one that you can litterally put in AAxx like wilson.

The graphs are useful to see which hands have the highest variance, if you care.

Hypotetically, the best use would be to program 9 other players that play the most like your usual opponents. I've found this to be impossible, as the computer genrated players are very predicible, and do not act randomly at all. If you spent a bunch of time playing around and making them realistic. You can literally click on the 'players' and change the i'd use the 'deal only calling hands' and play a bunch of hands versus these people. way they play top/mid/low trips, different draws, ect. Its worth a lot of time against humans, and would give you the confidence to throw it all in when the time came.

p.s. - I'd be willing to trade Wilson HE, tournament HE, and hi low (any two) to someone with Wilson Omaha.

Re: Wilson Omaha Software, Help Please

Thank you both for your very _badly_ needed help I sincerely appreciate it.

1.I'm NOW wondering what anyone that already has a grasp of omaha pl hi would use wilson's software, maybe for the gererator, hands vs hands.

2. The Propoker tools program I find amazing...after spending some time with it, frankly, how can anyone have much of a technical edge IF they have worked with this program, I am very impressed with it.

3. Can I find ANY type of program that can be used for online play to 'evaluate a hand, not knowing (in a ring game) others' hands', pre flop that would give the strenght of your hand be it by the "point system" (whatever that is)or pot odds method?

Im REALLY hoping you guys will address # 3 especially, it's genuanely appreciate it.._please_

Again, thank you sincerely!

Maybe others would care to chime in on this issue, much appreciated.

I believe that there is a spread-limit option, but not pot-limit.
