Party points for depositing not capped?

i just looked at my points statement and see that i was given another 1000 points for a deposit i made last week. i had already received 2000 points during April.

is this a usual Party balls up or is it just the initial 2000 points that count towards moving up levels?

For technical reason we ended up starting the cap on points May 1st. Get those points while you can and Enjoy!

Its prolly the only question out of the tons of party threads the rep actually knew the answer to

Tho given track record, I say its prolly in the neighborhood of 3-1 that the info provided is wrong.

anyway, im gunna go withdraw 10K and redeposit it now and cross my fingers

No kidding.

Party rep or Mike O'Malley or WHOEVER.
Would you care to respond to any of the other problems involving your site.

Some reassurances and explanations and details regarding the SNG bot incident (with the 20 different bots on the 20+2's all at the same time) would be a nice place to start.

Also - members in the internet-forum are sarcastically referring to that supposed promise to c'mon back and answer some of the questions in various threads.

Serously, we would love to hear more from you guys.

**********HEY!!!!!!*********

Mr Party Poker rep:

Please respond to why your site has been having MIDEALS? Seriously. You have not responded to a querey about this -- you need to.

Why did Party have repeated instances of MIDEALS? What (if anything) have you done to fix this problem with MIDEALS?

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but when an internet poker room has MIDEALS, and not just any site, but the largest one, you can see why some people would be concerned.

Thank you
Greg

It also wouldn't hurt if they'd admit that the memory leak exists and then start working on fixing it.

Wow, egg on my face.

Sorry guys, it should have read MISDEALS. I don't type as well when holding down the shift key. Then I ctrl+v'd my typo through the post.

Maybe I should have added some "!!!!!!1111" for good measure.

The typo doesn't really matter since we all can guess that Party isn't going to bother responding anyway.

note: for the nits, I made my depo before may 1st, on the same day the rep said we could still get points. So if the capping started may 1st even for depos made before may 1st, his post instead of just being flat out incorrect, was just pretty useless. Either way, just another fine example of Party Poker

Alobar,

I don't get it. the points are supposed to be capped at 2000/month, right? did you already get deposit points for may?

in OPs original post, he said he got more than the 2K cap that party advertised as the deposit bonus limit. The party rep came on and said that they wernt actually starting that until may 1st, and to take advantage of that. People then made comments about how out of all the party issues that get talked about one as trivial as this is the one he comments on. I said that it was prolly the only issue he knew the answer to, but that given its party the answer was prolly incorrect. As my screenshot shows, it was

Yep, I did the same thing. Deposited 4 grand when the rep made the post, and got capped at 2k. What a joke.

So why did the Party rep tell us to take advantage deposit points last week? I deposited $5000 into party because of what he said but I still got capped at 2000 points. What a rip-off!
