Probably the best dog ever

If they taught this dog to carry that little barrel filled with whiskey around his neck, he would have been better. As is, still sounds like a dog that's better than a lot of the people I know.

my dad had a dog he saved from an Indian Reservation -

I don't know how good their memories really are, but a dog who has nothing and suddenly is a dog in a pack can become real protective and a great loyal dog -

Anything that frightens Jehovas Witnesses can't be all bad.

WTF is the deal with youtube? They've been down at key points (between midnight and 5 AM) several times this month.

Togo led a sled over 170 miles in 3 days to help save a whole village from diptheria.

[ QUOTE ]
One of the more dramatic events illustrating his abilities occurred while Seppala and Togo were crossing the ice of the Norton Sound. The team was temporarily stranded after the ice they were crossing broke off and became an ice floe for several hours. When the ice drifted back to the solid sheet of ice crossing the bay, Seppala had Togo jump across the 5-foot (1.5 m) gap in-harness to pull the floe closer to the shore. The harness snapped and fell into the water, but Togo jumped into the water, took the traces in his jaw, and pulled the floes together until it was safe for the rest of the team to jump.

I don't mind them working on it, the site is slow for me sometimes. Assuming they're actually doing something good while it's down, I suppose it's probably worth it in the long run. Still annoying though.

The dog I had when I was a kid was the worst dog ever. Mean, bitchy, arrogrant, essentially she was a cat.

No This dog is the best dog ever. What a crazy story. They should give every company a dog trained to sniff out spies.

Re: Probably the best dog ever

I like both dogs and cats. Not crazy about birds, and most reptiles I can do without -- dumb as hell and they like to bite. But cats and dogs can both be very personable. It's just with cats, it makes a difference if you're personable back. Dogs don't care if you're a total arsehole. Which is one of the cool things about them.

Dogs are so cool that way I think most of us don't even realize how cool they are. Because we aren't quite tuned in to what selfish arseholes we are.
