stomach making CRAZY noises, what does oot do?
 

so i had lunch about an hour ago, salad w/ crumbled blue cheese, steak, tomatoes, and mushrooms, and a bit of some fancy ass ranch dressing.

i came home, drank a diet coke and played some poker online and my stomach started going crazy.

like wake up the neighbors type noises, seriously.
almost like a volcanic eruption down there for the last 15 minutes or so.

i am not feeling sick or bloated or anything like that, yet.........

do you use prevent defense here and chug some pepto bismol or just stick close to home and hope for the best?

i am supposed to be leaving the house now, but i can avoid it if neccessary.

what would you do and has your stomach ever done this to you without getting sick? because this is a new one on me.

thanks i hope i am feeling good enough to find a remedy or solution on here. lol

it can't hurt to be a little defensive about this, i wouldnt leave the house if i didnt have to , it is just a matter of time before the volcano erupts, and i wouldnt want to be in public when that happens

Drink some coffee, strong tea, or coke/pepsi and see if it can get you to poop. That can free up some space to make things spread out and make you start feeling better. This often works for me.

Jumping rope is also a fantastic way to get the farts coming out of you and settle your stomach, and the rhythmic breathing can help push food along too.

i decided to sip on some club soda, but damn do i wish i had some ginger ale, that stuff rules.

good ideas, except for the depends, that might be a touch drastic.

things might be calming down..........

should i squeeze a lime in the club soda? or will that makes things worse?

lime shouldn't affect it any

i concur on the rope jumping and rhythmic breathing, it will help move the culprit along its 20 something foot path to freedom

Laying down after eating/drinking some stuff can do this. Sit up for a while, and do all the stuff most people are suggesting here.

Prilosec OTC. I had this problem before, for some reason this worked. Doctor recommended it when I had some food poisoning and told him I was in excrutiating pain. This took care of that.

Oh man I had the most ridiculous noises and bloating ever yesterday after some bean soup and some questionable pizza...

every 5 minutes like a gallon of gas moved around in my colon and I thought a baby alien was going to pop out of my abdomen

Yeah thats how I felt. It was after some questionable chinese food. It had been there 1 day and for some reason I was like, it cant be that bad. Flashforward 8 hours and I am grabbing my stomach and wondering how I can be in so much pain and still be conscious.

i am starting to think the salad i ate was a bit questionable.........but the club soda definetly helped a ton.

i think all will be better soon.
