$1/$2 NL 6max K2 suited, call this turn reraise?

Villain is 40/13 with a limited number of hands observed.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

SB ($49.03)
BB ($293.07)
UTG ($109.69)
Hero ($145)
Button ($114)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $1.
1 fold, Hero raises to $7.7, 1 fold, SB (poster) calls $6.70, BB calls $5.70.

Flop: ($23.10) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $19.5, SB folds, BB raises to $90, Hero folds

In this position i felt inclined to fold this hand. Should I be calling this re-raise? I was worried about my kicker, but from the size of the re-raise could this be the least of my worries. Could this be a set or even two pairs.

I don't see yve's problem with the hand. Entire hand - including fold to flop c/r is standard.

edit: you are not allowed to raise Kxs unless you are bought in for maximum.

i think preflop is marginal at best, i normally wouldn't raise here unless the blinds didn't defend much or played terrible post flop.

on the flop i bet most of the time and folding to the raise is very standard unless you have some super read. checking behind and waiting for a safe turn to bet has some merit, but most of the time i'm betting the flop.

Pre is depeandant on table and should normally just be a variation play, however once you do it, I would say the rest of the hand is standard.

Personally id rather open with like 67o there or something or like 10 7s or something than King small, unless of course your playing some sorta of supa dupa donk.

Reason for this is cause its just much easier to play post flop, and you wont loose too much too the people who go too far with hands like K10o, Kjo etc.

Other than that you played the hand well. No way in hell im calling the flop raise barring some extra fantastic read.

One last thing, If youre going to be opening with a range as wide as king small suited id recommend having at least 100b blinds behind. So reload Man.

Suited kings from cutoff are very standard for a lot of people, even as low as this one. I mean there are certainly very successful players that have 20% PFR's that will come in with this hand more often than not. I personally wouldn't raise this nearly as often as some, but I would still do it from time to time, especially with the right blinds and a tight button. My range from CO/Button tends to change big-time given table conditions, though.

My VPIP is ~20 and open raising K3s from the CO is something I am doing way more often than not.

u are definitely wrong, i almost always open K3s in the CO.

as for the hand... preflop and flop bet are fine/standard... w/ no read i lay it down here... thats a huge raise and if u have a good read/feel, it could very easily bve a heart draw, but generally u dont need to be a hero... u arent really getting great pot odds to get it allin here and obvious;y u can be crushed.
